Tests in accordance with ISO 21702:2019 demonstrate the antibacterial effectiveness of Prodir’s “Antibacterial” writing instruments.
The studies, conducted by independent laboratories in line with ISO guidelines, show that 44 percent less of the Sars-CoV-2 virus remained on the antibacterial-treated surfaces after 24 hours than on those left untreated.
It was also demonstrated that the amount of the virus on the antibacterial-treated surfaces fell by 90 percent after 6 hours and by 99.56 percent after 24.
Prodir uses proven silver-ion technology for the surface protection on its “Antibacterial” writing instruments, which has undergone antimicrobial and antiviral testing in accordance with ISO 22196 and ISO 21702:2019 respectively. This method has been a recognized technique for centuries and has no harmful effects.
All DS and QS models made from plastic – including recycled plastic – are available with the antimicrobially and antivirally effective “Biomaster” surface protection.
