The Swiss global leader in innovative technology for the development of writing instruments earns four new certifications, affirming the company’s commitment to quality and environmental stewardship as well as employee health, safety and well-being.
Pagani Pens, the company behind Prodir, a leader in writing instruments for the promotional market, has recently been awarded four new certifications.
The certification conferred by the Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) confirms Pagani Pens’ exemplary standards in terms of labour law, health and safety, and the environment. The company’s three new ISO certifications are ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management, ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management, and ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety.
These certifications solidify the company’s position as an industry leader committed to quality, environmental stewardship, and employee well-being.
Key to earning these certifications has been the company’s complete vertical integration. Pagani Pens and their brands, including Prodir, Pigra and Premec, manufacture writing instruments, components and writing technologies in their own production facilities in Switzerland at their facilities in Ticino, Switzerland. Vertical integration helps the company keep everything under close control, from quality to rigorous compliance with Switzerland’s world-leading welfare and environmental standards.
“These certifications testify to our commitment to quality, environmental responsibility, occupational health and safety, and ethical business practices,” said the Pagani Pens Executive Board in a statement. “This is an important achievement that opens up new opportunities and challenges for us, and one that we should all be proud of.”
The Board called it “the crowning achievement of a path that for years each of us has been pursuing with conviction and determination, a path made of commitment, professionalism, passion and much more”.
